Dr. Rania Akacha, a former PhD student at the University of Lyon-1 (Laboratoire d’Ingénierie des Matériaux Polymères (UMR 5223)) is joining us as a post-doctoral fellow on a collaborative project with the team of Prof H. Cramail at the LCPO.
After 11 years in our team Jonathan has left the University of Bordeaux to join the University of Lyon.

Our work recently published in ACS Catalysis on “O-Methyl-N-nitroisourea as a NCO Surrogate in Cu-Catalyzed Alkane C–H Amidination. A Masked Isocyanate Strategy“ was highlighted by the CNRS.
In the frame of an Arkivoc special issue in the honour of Prof. Samir Zard, we recently contributed with a manuscript entitled “Copper-catalyzed silylation of activated alkenes by photoinduced ligand-to-metal charge transfer”.

Jonathan presented his work on “C-H amidination of alkanes and polyethylenes” at the 28th French-Japanese Symposium on Medicinal & Fine Chemistry which was held at the University of Nice 1st to 4th of October 2023.
Dr. Arkadiusz Zych from the Italian Institute of Technology in Genoa joins us as a post-doc on a project in collaboration with the team of Prof. H. Cramail (LCPO, University of Bordeaux) in the frame of the PPM research program.
